How to Ask a Great Question

When your question is a little more focused, it can be easier for us to share insight in a way that feels clear and supportive. If a question is very broad, the reading may naturally stay more general. Using the tips below can often help the reading feel more grounded and satisfying.

Keep it to one clear question.
One situation, one focus.

Add 2-4 sentences of context.
What’s happening + what you’ve tried + what you want clarity on.

Aim for short/focused and specific.
One decision or theme beats “tell me everything."

Use your chosen alias and avoid identifying details.
No full names, workplaces, handles, etc...

Ask for clarity, perspective and options.
Not guarantees or exact predictions.

If you’re dictating your question via email, keep it under 90 seconds.
Speak clearly, and talk at a natural pace.

Tell us what kind of help you want.
Clarity, a potential next step, a boundary, or a reframe.

Avoid medical/legal/financial questions.
We can’t answer those, but you can reframe toward feelings, choices, and support.

How it Works

How do I submit a question?
Submit through our Google Form or email us directly. You can type your question or dictate it.
Where will you answer my question?
We respond on our social media now, and we’ll also answer questions on the podcast once it launches. We can’t promise where (or when) any specific question will be featured.
Will my name be used?
No. We always use the alias you choose, and we remove identifying details.
Will you respond to every submission?
We read every question we can, but we may not be able to respond to all submissions.
What kinds of questions can you answer?
Questions about relationships, career, friendships, life direction, and timing/next steps work well—especially when they’re focused and include a little context.
What can’t you answer?
We can’t provide medical, legal, or financial advice or directives, and we can’t respond to crisis or emergency situations.
Can I send an update or follow-up?
Yes—updates are welcome. If you resubmit, reference your alias and include any new context.
When does the podcast launch?
Later this year. Follow us on Instagram or Facebook for updates and new readings in the meantime.
